  • Can I substitute grocery items if I can’t find a particular item?
    We don't offer any swaps on ingredients within a plan but we do encourage clients to change items in their plans which can be cross checked against My Fitness Pal. Unless you do have an intolerances our team will change the necessary items. If a certain ingredient in your plan is not available please contact the team and we can advise you on an appropriate swap.
  • Do I eat the same meal every day for 6 weeks?
    No, a week before your next week plan, you will be notified within the app to choose new meals for your starting week. This will comprise of 3 snacks of your choice, 1 breakfast option, 1 lunch option, 2 alternating dinners (mon-thurs and fri-sun) and 1 dessert option.
  • Can I still join if I am a fussy eater?
    Yes, if you dislike certain ingredients within a recipe you can choose to eliminate it from your plan when choosing your meals (this can be done by listing the particular ingredient you would like to eliminate in the snack section) or you can substitute a desired ingredients of your choice by cross checking the calories through My Fitness Pal.
  • Can my family eat the same meals as me?
    Yes, all our meals are designed with the intention of being family friendly and deliciously tasty.
  • Are your meals budget friendly?
    Yes, all our recipes are created with the idea of being easy on the wallet and could help you save money as it avoids you buying unnecessary items in the supermarket
  • Can I incorporate an alcoholic beverage or take away meal into my plan?
    Yes, alcohol beverages and take away meals can be added into your plan but it will be up to you to eliminate/substitute items on your meal plan and allow for the correct calories of each beverage or take away meal being placed into your day
  • Is exercise important during my plan?
    Not necessarily we base your calorie deficit around what your activity level is. If you wanted to eat at a higher deficit then your activity level would need to increase. We recommend having an average step count of 10,000 steps a day.
  • How long does the program go for?
    Our program runs for 8 weeks but we do recommend at least 12 weeks for maximum results. Our reason for a 8 week plan is that we don’t want clients to be locked in to a long term plan that they find isn’t working for them but we do find 8 weeks is sufficient time to see results and changes.
  • How does your program allow me to lose weight?
    The Make it Fit with Nikki program is based on the scientific method of eating within a calorie deficit. This is calculated based on your age, height and activity level which allows us to work out your custom deficit reaching your macronutrient targets.
  • What are macro’s?
    Macro’s or macronutrients is the protein, carbohydrate and fats that the body requires for energy to maintain your body’s structure and systems.
  • What is a deficit, maintenance and surplus?
    Caloric Deficit- Is the amount of calories you will need to consume per day in order to lose weight. This is done by eating and drinking fewer calories than you burn in order to lose weight. Maintenance- Is the amount of calories you will need to consume per day in order to maintain the weight you are currently sitting at. Clients who choose maintenance are those who are wanting to repair their relationship with food and/or reset there metabolism if they have been yoyo dieting for long periods of time and have hit a plateau in there weight loss. (recommended for a minimum of 3 weeks if you have plateaued in your weight loss prior to starting program) Surplus- Is the amount of calories you will need to consume per day in order to put on weight in a healthy and sustainable way. This is recommended for those who are looking to gain muscle growth in the gym and are under a intense gym program
  • How do you calculate my deficit calories?
    Your deficit calories is calculated using a science based formula that incorporates your age, height and activity level
  • How much weight should I be expecting to lose on a deficit per week?
    A healthy amount of weight loss that should be expected is around 300-400 grams per week. Those individuals in a higher weight class (ie over 100kg) will initially lose a higher weight range of around 1kg to 2kg. Weight loss also depends on if you are maintaining the same activity level when your calorie deficit was calculated and how adherent you are to the plan. Just remember no weight loss doesn’t necessarily mean no results as you can still lose inches or cm’s off your waist etc this is why weekly photos and measurements are crucial when starting.
  • Why are check ins done?
    Check in’s are done for premium clients only and allow us to check over progress, how you're feeling mentally with your journey and your energy levels. This also allows us to go over your measurements and see if your program is going to plan and if there are any tweaks that need to be made.
  • Can I still join if I am not looking at weight loss but want to improve my relationship with food?
    Yes! Our program is designed with the idea of flexible eating where no food is labelled as bad or off limits.
  • Can my calories be adjusted if I am not losing weight?
    Yes, this can be done through check ins with the premium clients or those who are on the standard program can message through on the chat line within the app or email
  • Do you take on international clients?
    Yes we have had clients who have been successful substituting grocery items within their local grocery chains
  • Do you cater to clients with medical conditions that require strict diets?
    We do cater to certain clients with medical conditions (ie celiac, lactose intolerant etc), whilst we do try and incorporate highly nutritional foods in our plans, however we are not medical professionals and we cannot give out any medical advice on what to eat and therefore would recommend discussing with your health professional prior to joining. You will be responsible for choosing your own meals in your program, very much the same when you go to a restaurant and order off the menu.
  • I am pregnant, can I still join your plan?
    Yes, we do cater to pregnant women but we only provide maintenance plans, as during this time of pregnancy it is highly important that you are eating highly nutritious foods.
  • I am breastfeeding, can I still join your plan?
    Yes, we do cater to breastfeeding women but we only provide maintenance plans, as during this time we want to make sure you are eating highly nutritious foods and that your milk production doesn’t decrease.
  • What are your payment options?
    We currently have 4 payment options available this includes: Stripe (Direct debit) PayPal (including pay in 4) Afterpay Weekly payment plans
  • Can I hold my plan?
    Yes, you can hold your program after the first week of completion which can be held for a maximum of 3 weeks (in a row). During this hold period you will not have any access to the program until you choose continue on the program. To hold the program you will need to convey this through the support chat within the app at this time there will not be any direct debit until the 3 week of your hold period is complete.
  • Is there a money back guarantee?
    At Make it Fit with Nikki we do not offer a money back guarantee as we use scientific based formulas that have been shown to work time and time again in successfully losing weight. As long as you are adherent to the program and don’t eat out of your calorie deficit you will see the results and achieve the goals you set out for yourself, but we will not be accountable for any non-compliance and will not be liable for any results you have not achieved during your make it fit with Nikki journey.
